Iran warns Australia not to interfere in Iran’s affairs
Naser Kanaani, Iran’s FM spokesman / WANA News Agency
Nasser Kanaani, the spokesman of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reacted to the Australian Prime Minister’s statements regarding Iran’s internal developments.
Kanaani emphasized that the Prime Minister of Australia has taken a wrong approach based on false information, and this ” does not help the relations between the two countries.”
“We are ready to provide the Australian government with the correct narrative, away from the media controversy regarding the developments in Iran.”
Referring to the violation of human rights in Australia in cases such as the murder of asylum seekers, and the murder of 500 natives in Australian prisons and the prohibition of professional research in these cases, he said, “Australia lacks the least moral legitimacy to preach about human rights.”
“Sheltering terrorist and separatist groups and keeping silent in the face of the brutal terrorist attack on the holy shrine of Shahcheragh by the Australian government is a sign of a double standard towards human rights.”
Kanaani announced that the ambassador of Australia in tehran has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in this regard and the necessary warnings have been conveyed through him.
