Iran Warns: Enemy Bases Will Be Destroyed Again
WANA (Mar 07) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said: “We state clearly that we struck them and destroyed them so that it would serve as a lesson to anyone who dares to attack our nation. From now on, whatever the enemy rebuilds—any bases, facilities, or equipment similar to those—will once again be destroyed with powerful strikes.”
Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said that the Islamic Republic of Iran respects the interests and national sovereignty of neighboring countries and has not committed any aggression against them so far.
He continued: “Any location from which aggression against Iran originates will be considered a legitimate target, and there will never be any retreat or compromise when confronting the United States and the Zionist regime.”
The spokesperson emphasized that countries which have not provided airspace or facilities to the United States and the Israeli regime have not been targeted by Iran so far and will not be targeted in the future. However, all bases that serve as the origin of attacks against Iran will continue, as before, to face heavy strikes on land, at sea, and in the air.
He added: “We say it clearly: we struck them and destroyed them so that it would be a lesson for anyone who dares to attack our nation. From now on, whatever the enemy rebuilds—any bases, facilities, or equipment similar to these—will be destroyed again and again with crushing strikes.”
Zolfaqari also stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly welcomes the escorting of oil tankers and the claimed presence of U.S. forces passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and said that Iran is waiting for them.
He recommended that before making any decision, Americans should remember the burning of the supertanker Bridgeton in 1987 and the tankers that have recently been targeted.
“In this conflict,” he said, “after entering the region vertically, there is no guarantee that your exit will also be vertical.”
He concluded by saying that the same warning applies to U.S. ships: they may intend to enter the region afloat, but it is entirely possible that they could end up sinking vertically to the bottom of the Persian Gulf.
