WANA (Mar 23) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, held separate phone conversations today (Monday) with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, discussing recent regional developments following what he described as continued U.S. and Israeli attacks against Iran.

During the calls with Jeyhun Bayramov of Azerbaijan and Rashid Meredov of Turkmenistan, Araghchi outlined the scope and impact of recent U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iranian provinces bordering the Caspian Sea.

He warned of the potential security and environmental consequences these attacks could have on the Caspian Sea and surrounding regions.

Araghchi emphasized that the situation poses risks not only to Iran but also to other Caspian littoral states.

He called for responsible positions from regional countries, urging condemnation of the attacks and the adoption of necessary measures to address their potential repercussions.
