WANA (Apr 15) – Major General Ali Abdollahi, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued a stern warning to the United States today, stating that Iran will act decisively to defend its national sovereignty and interests.

 

General Abdollahi asserted that if the U.S. continues the “illegal naval blockade” and creates insecurity for Iranian commercial vessels and oil tankers, it will be considered a violation of the ceasefire.

 

He warned that in such a scenario, Iran’s powerful armed forces will not allow any exports or imports to continue through the Persian Gulf, the Sea of Oman, or the Red Sea.

 

“Iran will act with full force to defend its sovereignty and national interests,” Abdollahi emphasized, adding that the Iranian military remains prepared to respond to any further provocations.
