Iran Welcomes Dialogue with Lebanon
WANA (Nov 22) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that Iran does not interfere in Lebanon’s internal affairs, but welcomes any dialogue aimed at advancing bilateral relations between Iran and Lebanon.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, wrote in Arabic on his account on the social platform X, responding to an invitation from Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji for negotiations: “My dear friend Youssef Raji, the Lebanese Foreign Minister, has invited me for talks in an interview with MTV Lebanon.”
Araghchi added: “We do not interfere in Lebanon’s domestic affairs; however, we welcome any form of dialogue aimed at developing and strengthening bilateral relations between Iran and Lebanon.”
