WANA (Aug 29) – Brigadier General Seyed Majid Ibn-ol-Reza, Acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to advancing its defense power, stating that the armed forces will spare no effort in realizing a “Strong Iran.”

 

Following directives issued by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces during Government Week on the necessity of moving toward a “Strong Iran,” General Ibn-ol-Reza released a formal message emphasizing the continuous enhancement of national defense capabilities, leveraging the potential of youth and elite scientists, and maintaining national unity.

 

Referencing lessons learned from recent conflicts, he described the continuous advancement of defense readiness as an unavoidable necessity to counter present and future threats, adding that the Ministry of Defense considers itself directly tasked with fulfilling the leadership’s decree.

 

In his message to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, General Ibn-ol-Reza stated that the leadership’s guidance during Government Week served as an explicit command for defense personnel to build an even stronger nation.

 

He affirmed that defense ministry personnel were pursuing a clear mission aimed at generating national power, safeguarding public security, and developing defensive capabilities to deter any enemy miscalculations or aggression.

 

Reflecting on recent conflicts, the Acting Defense Minister noted that these experiences demonstrated the critical need for constant readiness and continuous power generation rather than relying solely on existing assets.

 

He identified Iranian youth and elite specialists as the country’s greatest asset, highlighting how they developed key technologies during severe sanction years and converted their technical expertise into defensive capabilities on the battlefield. He emphasized that relying on this generation was a fundamental necessity for securing the nation’s future.

 

Furthermore, General Ibn-ol-Reza pointed to the national unity displayed between the public and the armed forces during wartime, describing this cohesion as the most vital element of Iran’s overall defense strength.

 

Concluding his message, he declared that defense personnel viewed the leadership’s decree as a direct operational assignment, pledging that they would not abandon their posts, would never halt the development of Iran’s defense power, and would spare no effort to achieve a strong nation.
