Iran Won’t Let “Any Random Outsider” Interfere in Its Nuclear or Missile Principles
WANA (Nov 02) – Mohammad Javad Larijani, a senior expert on international affairs, firmly stated that Iran will not allow any country to interfere in its fundamental nuclear and missile policies. Speaking at the conference “Us and the West in the Thoughts and Teachings of Ayatollah Khamenei,” he said, “It’s none of America’s or anyone else’s business where Iran’s nuclear and missile programs stand. Iran won’t let any random outsider meddle in its principles.”
Larijani posed a central question about Iran’s strategy toward the West: “What is the reasonable path for the Islamic Republic in confronting the West?” He explained that the United States dominates much of the world, forming what he described as “the West.” According to him, from the perspective of Ayatollah Khamenei’s political doctrine, the Iranian nation has always resisted Western arrogance with an open and active approach.
Criticizing the West’s security-centered worldview, he said, “In Western thinking, everything is securitized. When that framework is shaken—as it was after 9/11—the entire system changes. Torture and endless imprisonment became normalized in the West.” He also referred to the ongoing war in Gaza, noting, “Today, Israel is showcasing the peak of violence and brutality.”

Larijani called Western human-rights slogans “one-sided and self-serving,” adding, “We must be the true defenders of human rights—those grounded in human dignity.” He emphasized that Iran should go beyond merely using Western technology and instead master and innovate upon it.
Discussing Iran’s strategy against U.S. pressure, Larijani said, “The ‘JCPOA doctrine’ could be a basis for engagement with the West. Despite heavy U.S. sanctions, Iran is neither paralyzed nor desperate.”
He stressed that while Iran engages in dialogue with all countries, “the nature of its negotiations differs.” On regional issues, he said, “We believe the Middle East should be managed collectively.”

What’s Behind America’s Message to Iran via Oman?
WANA (Nov 02) – At a time when Washington is seeking to redefine its policy of containing Iran, the news of Majid Takht-Ravanchi — Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs — traveling to Oman has grabbed headlines. The visit was officially part of bilateral consultations, yet in practice it once again drew attention to […]
Defending Iran’s right to nuclear advancement, Larijani added, “A country capable of building a nuclear bomb in less than two weeks clearly states it doesn’t want one—and is open to negotiation.”
He further highlighted that Ayatollah Khamenei’s fatwa banning nuclear weapons “has deep jurisprudential roots” and prevents Iran from pursuing such arms. “Even if a war were to happen,” Larijani said, “it wouldn’t be a barbaric one—there are boundaries on both sides.”
“I’m a strong supporter of developing national capabilities,” he concluded. “We’ve introduced a new concept to the world. Iran could have a nuclear bomb in under two weeks—but we are bound by our faith.”
