WANA (Aug 20) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that if a new war breaks out, Iran’s weapons would be significantly different from those used in previous conflicts, with improvements in warhead technology, accuracy, missile range, and other capabilities.

 

Hossein Mohabi stated that Iran continues to strengthen its military capabilities and is constantly developing weapons that are more precise, more destructive, and more technologically advanced.

 

He added that in the event of another conflict, Iran’s military response would rely on upgraded weaponry, reflecting ongoing advancements in areas such as warhead design, targeting accuracy, and missile range.

 

Mohabi emphasized that the Islamic Republic has never halted the development of its military capabilities and continues to make progress across all areas of defense technology.

 

Addressing regional developments, he also commented on Yemen’s Ansarallah movement, saying Saudi Arabia would not be able to contain or defeat the group.

 

Referring to the ongoing war in Gaza, Mohabi said that despite more than two years of fighting, Israel has been unable to inflict decisive damage on Hamas. He argued that Saudi Arabia, with more limited military capabilities, would likewise be unable to overcome Ansarallah.

 

He added that Ansarallah’s military capabilities have continued to grow over the years and that Yemen’s resistance movement is steadily expanding its strength and capacity.
