WANA (Aug 31) – Iran’s youth beach wrestling team delivered a dominant performance to claim the team title at the World Beach Wrestling Championships, held on August 26–27 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

 

Competing against athletes from 20 participating countries, the Iranian national team captured the top spot on the podium after securing six total medals—two gold, two silver, and two bronze—accumulating a total of 85 points.

 

The medalists for Iran are as follows:

Gold Medals:

  • Kiarash Torabi (70 kg)
  • Amir Saleh Javidani (90 kg)

 

Silver Medals:

  • Houman Kalhori (70 kg)
  • Reza Jalilian (80 kg)

 

Bronze Medals:

  • Amir Ali Domirkolai (60 kg)
  • Amir Ali Amini (90 kg)
