Iranian and French Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Talks
WANA (Apr 26) – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Jean-Noël Barrot, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, held a telephone conversation today, Sunday.
The Foreign Minister of Iran informed his French counterpart of the latest status and developments related to the ceasefire and diplomatic efforts to end the imposed war, emphasizing the importance of European countries playing a constructive role in this process.
The French Foreign Minister, emphasizing his country’s position in supporting the continuation of the diplomatic approach, expressed hope that with the continuation of talks, we will witness the establishment of peace in the region.
The Foreign Ministers of Iran and France emphasized the continuation of bilateral consultations as well as consultations with other regional parties.
