WANA (Apr 09) – In a telephone conversation, Seyed Abbas Araqchi and Faisal bin Farhan discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations and regional affairs.

 

According to reports, the Iranian Foreign Minister outlined recent regional developments following the ceasefire announcement and emphasized Iran’s responsible approach toward regional issues.

 

He also noted that the U.S. has twice carried out military actions against Iran amid nuclear negotiations and, even before renewed diplomacy takes place, has failed to honor its commitments.

 

In response, the Saudi Foreign Minister stressed his country’s support for the ceasefire agreement and ongoing efforts to restore stability and security in the region.

 

He expressed hope that the current ceasefire would pave the way for a complete end to hostilities and a sustainable return of peace and stability.
