Iranian and UAE Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Talks
WANA (Feb 24) – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a phone conversation with Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss regional and international developments.
During the call, Araghchi briefed his Emirati counterpart on the progress of the ongoing Iran–U.S. nuclear negotiations.
Both sides underscored the importance of continued consultations among regional countries to safeguard shared interests and preserve regional stability and security.
In recent days, Araghchi has also held telephone discussions with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, and Qatar.
Additionally, following the second round of nuclear talks in Geneva, he spoke twice by phone with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
