Iranian Armed Forces Stand Firm Against Enemy Threats
WANA (Aug 24) – The Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran declared that the armed forces and the brave sons of the Army are standing with full resolve against the threats of enemies.
Major General Amir Hatami, speaking on Sunday at the Naval Sciences University in Nowshahr, said: “Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran holds a special position among regional countries, and the enemy must know that the valiant sons of the nation in the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran are prepared, and—as in the past—with strength and determination will deliver an even stronger and more crushing response to any ill-intentioned aggressor.”
Referring to the rapid pace of scientific developments and the changing nature of threats, he emphasized: “The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran must always keep itself up to date and make use of the valuable experiences of past wars—especially the 12-day war—for understanding the enemy, recognizing threats, and self-awareness.”
He stressed that today, motivation must be divine and arise from deep insight, while efficiency requires knowledge and skill. Highlighting Iran’s special status in the region and the necessity of safeguarding the nation’s independence and territorial integrity, he added: “In such circumstances, the role of human resources is crucial, and complete readiness is also required to confront maritime threats.”
Major General Hatami stated: “Today, the two main components of human resources are motivation and efficiency—motivation must be divine and rooted in deep insight, while efficiency demands knowledge and expertise.”
Describing universities as the central axis in developing human resources, he said: “Universities must nurture a generation that is motivated, courageous, and efficient, always prepared to defend the country and sacrifice in the path of the Islamic Revolution.”
The Army Commander-in-Chief concluded: “Preparation for the future, attention to modern warfare, and strengthening defensive capabilities are critical duties, and efforts must be made to preserve morale, vitality, and continuous work along the path of national power.”
