Iranian Army: 82 Drones Destroyed by Army and IRGC So Far
WANA (Mar 07) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Army, in its Statement No. 16, announced that since the beginning of the aggression by the American–Israeli enemy, a total of 82 drones have been shot down by the air defense systems of the Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to the statement, 13 attacking drones were destroyed by the integrated network of the Joint Air Defense Headquarters.
Over the past 24 hours, 13 advanced drones — including MQ-9, Hermes, and Orbiter models — were intercepted and destroyed by the integrated network of the Joint Air Defense Headquarters.
Based on Statement No. 16 of the Iranian Army, during the past 24 hours, these 13 advanced drones were targeted and shot down by missile and artillery defense systems of the Army’s Ground Forces and the air defense units of both the Army and the IRGC, operating under the command of the country’s Joint Air Defense Headquarters. The interceptions took place in several regions, including northwestern and western Iran, the south, Isfahan, Kerman, and Tehran.
The statement also emphasised that since the start of the American–Zionist aggression, the total number of drones downed by the Army and IRGC air defense systems has reached 82.
