WANA (Mar 25) – In an official statement, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that it had carried out a series of drone strikes targeting sites in Israeli-controlled territories.

According to statement No. 43, air support centers, drone production facilities, and certain critical infrastructure linked to Israeli security institutions were targeted in the operation. The statement emphasized that the strikes were conducted with the aim of weakening military operational and support capabilities.

The statement further noted that the operation included attacks on maintenance and repair facilities for fighter jets, as well as key aerospace infrastructure. These sites were described as playing a significant role in the development and deployment of advanced drones and various intelligence and surveillance systems.

In another part of the statement, Iran’s army claimed that defense industries involved in the development of air defense systems and electronic warfare technologies were also targeted, with the objective of reducing Israel’s defensive capabilities and advanced military technologies.

The Iranian Army concluded by stating that due to the wide range and distribution of targets across multiple locations, the continuation of such strikes remains possible, and operations will persist until the intended objectives are achieved.
