WANA (Jul 14) – The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army announced that Iranian forces had targeted several U.S. military assets in the region, including military facilities in Kuwait and an American vessel, using loitering attack drones and cruise missiles in response to what it described as repeated U.S. attacks against Iran.

 

According to the statement, Iranian Army attack drones struck U.S. military facilities in Kuwait, targeting communication systems, fuel storage facilities, Patriot air defense systems, control towers, and ammunition depots. The Army said the operation was carried out as part of Iran’s response to recent U.S. military actions against the country.

 

The statement added that the Iranian Navy also targeted an American vessel with cruise missiles in response to missile attacks on several military sites.

 

The Army’s public relations department said Iran’s defensive operations were designed in proportion to the level of attacks carried out by the United States and would continue with force as long as such actions persisted.

 

The statement further emphasized national unity and said Iran’s military responses were being carried out within the framework of defending the country’s territorial integrity and national security.

 

The Iranian Army said future defensive measures would be planned based on developments on the ground and the scale of actions by the opposing side.
