Iranian Army Commander: Ready to Decisively Respond to Any Threat
WANA (Jun 09) – Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, the Commander of the Army Ground Forces, emphasized the comprehensive readiness of his forces to execute assigned missions and counter any potential threats during a recent inspection of the operational units of the 71st Abuzar Mechanized Infantry Brigade along the country’s western border.
Expressing his satisfaction with the combat and operational readiness of the units stationed in the region, Brigadier General Jahanshahi stated that the Army Ground Forces units are fully vigilant, with their hands on the trigger, ready to deliver a decisive response to any potential threat.
He added that under the command of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the troops will defend the territorial integrity, independence, and security of the Islamic Republic of Iran until the last drop of their blood.
Highlighting the vital importance of ensuring sustainable security in border regions, the Army Ground Forces Commander stressed the necessity of continuously maintaining and upgrading the force’s deterrent power and operational preparedness. He noted that the security of the country’s borders is the direct result of the continuous efforts, readiness, and powerful presence of the armed forces.
Brigadier General Jahanshahi expressed his gratitude for the efforts, sacrifices, and jihadist spirit of the commanders and personnel of the 71st Brigade in guarding the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He evaluated the forces’ readiness, discipline, and combat capability as favorable, while stressing the need to continuously upgrade combat readiness in line with assigned missions.
During the visit, the Army Ground Forces Commander inspected various operational sectors, equipment, and combat capabilities of the 71st Abuzar Mechanized Infantry Brigade, evaluating the unit’s latest measures and operational plans.
