Iranian Army: Drone Strike Targeted Strategic Sites in Haifa
WANA (Mar 10) – The Iranian Army announced in its Statement No. 21 that it had carried out a drone strike on two key military and intelligence facilities in the city of Haifa.
According to the statement, the Ground Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army launched a wave of loitering attack drones earlier today, targeting a military base in Haifa as well as a center responsible for receiving data from the Israeli “Ofeq” reconnaissance satellites.
The army said the military facility in Haifa plays a significant role in the development and production of weapons and is considered strategically important in enhancing Israel’s combat capabilities.
The second target, described as a receiving center for the Ofeq satellite program, is reportedly one of the key hubs used for collecting and processing military and intelligence data.
According to the statement, the facility coordinates reconnaissance satellite missions and has played an operational role during recent conflicts, including what Iran described as the “12-day war” and the latest round of hostilities.
