WANA (Mar 11) – The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army announced that it has carried out drone attacks on multiple strategic targets in Israel since early Wednesday morning.

In its Statement No. 23, the army said its “destructive drones” struck several Israeli military and intelligence facilities, including the military intelligence organization known as AMAN, the signals intelligence unit Unit 8200, the Green Pine Radar, and the submarine headquarters building at the naval base in Haifa.

According to the statement, the drone attacks are ongoing.

The army described AMAN as a key part of Israel’s intelligence structure, responsible for identifying targets and coordinating military actions during what it referred to as the “Ramadan war” (the war imposed on Iran by the US and Israel, which started on February 28 and took place during the month of Ramadan, with Iran having named it accordingly).

Unit 8200, meanwhile, is tasked with collecting signals intelligence, intercepting digital communications, and conducting offensive cyber operations.

The statement also said the Green Pine radar system had served as a major component of Israel’s defense against Iranian missiles during the conflict. Damage to the radar, the army claimed, could significantly reduce Israel’s ability to intercept incoming missile attacks.

The Iranian army concluded that its forces “will not cease their efforts even for a moment” in defending the country’s independence, territorial integrity, and the political system of the Islamic Republic.
