WANA (Mar 28) – The Public Relations Office of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that strategic electronic warfare and radar centers in Haifa, along with fuel storage facilities at Ben Gurion Airbase, were targeted in an offensive drone operation.

According to the statement, released as Communiqué No. 46, Iranian Army drones carried out strikes early this morning against key facilities associated with Israel’s aerospace sector in the port city of Haifa. Among the targets was the “ELTA” electronic warfare and radar center, a major component of Israel’s aerospace industry.

The ELTA company, a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), is considered one of the leading entities in the fields of electronic warfare, phased-array radar systems, early warning technologies, airborne surveillance, and satellite monitoring equipment.

The statement noted that damage inflicted on this facility is expected to directly reduce Israel’s capability to detect and track Iranian missiles and drones, as well as weaken its electronic warfare support operations. It added that the strikes could enhance the operational effectiveness of Iran’s armed forces in conducting long-range missions deep inside enemy territory.

The communiqué also highlighted repeated drone attacks in recent days on fuel storage centers at Ben Gurion Airbase, located southeast of Tel Aviv. These facilities were described as critical to supporting joint U.S.-Israeli aerial operations, and the statement claimed that the strikes have caused significant disruptions to fuel supply for hostile aircraft.

The Iranian Army emphasized in its statement that it remains committed to its mission, acting under the command of the Commander-in-Chief and in coordination with other branches of the armed forces. It added that operations are being carried out with determination, drawing on what it described as the resilience of the Iranian people.
