WANA (Jul 21) – The Iranian Army announced that it had carried out the 19th phase of Operation Saegheh, launching drone strikes against three U.S. military bases in Kuwait.

According to a statement issued by the Army’s Public Relations Office, the operation took place early Tuesday morning. The Army said its one-way attack drones targeted administrative buildings and direction-finding antennas at Arifjan Base, a helicopter parking area at Camp Udairi, and a building housing U.S. military personnel at Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base.

The statement said the operation was conducted in response to what it described as repeated U.S. “hostile actions” and breaches of commitments.

The Army described Arifjan Base as one of the largest U.S. Army headquarters and troop deployment centers in Southwest Asia. It said Camp Udairi hosts Apache, Chinook, and Black Hawk helicopters operated by U.S. naval and air forces, while Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base plays a key role in logistics, air operations, and surveillance missions supporting U.S. military activities in the region.

The Iranian Army further stated that U.S. military actions had undermined regional security and said Iran’s armed forces were continuing operations against the United States with the stated aim of restoring stability and security to the region.
