WANA (Jul 24) – The Iranian Army announced that it had carried out the 24th phase of its “Saegheh” operation, targeting two U.S. military bases in Bahrain and Jordan with suicide drones.

According to a statement released by the Army’s Public Relations Office, explosive Arash drones struck fuel storage facilities, large equipment warehouses and hangars, as well as troop accommodation areas at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain during the early hours of Friday.

The statement added that, later in the same phase of the operation, aircraft shelters, aircraft maintenance hangars, and accommodation facilities used by U.S. forces at Azraq Air Base in Jordan were also targeted in drone attacks.

The Iranian Army further warned that any action against what it described as the legitimate and lawful interests of the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic would also jeopardize the security and economic interests of other countries in the region.
