Iranian Army Reports Drone Strike on U.S. Equipment at Azraq Base in Jordan
WANA (Mar 29) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Army announced in Statement No. 47 that it carried out a drone attack targeting U.S. military equipment at Azraq Air Base.
According to the statement, Iranian forces struck logistics and support equipment warehouses, as well as accommodation facilities for U.S. troops, using multiple drones early today.
The base was described as one of the region’s most significant military centers and a key hub for U.S. operations due to its strategic location in eastern Jordan.
The statement added that Azraq serves as a critical operational platform, hosting various fighter and transport aircraft and functioning as a major command center for operations against Iran.
The army emphasized that it will continue its actions with determination in defense of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
