Iranian Army Reports Drone Strikes on Al-Kharj Base and Camp Al-Udeiri
WANA (Apr 06) – The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army announced that it carried out drone strikes targeting the Al-Kharj base in Saudi Arabia and Camp Al-Udeiri in Kuwait.
According to the statement, the operation was conducted using Arash-2 loitering drones in what was described as a precise and planned attack against U.S. forces.
The army said Al-Kharj—also known as Prince Sultan Air Base—serves as a key hub for U.S. operations, hosting aircraft such as Boeing E-3 Sentry and MQ-9 Reaper drones, as well as aerial refueling planes.
The statement added that Camp Al-Udeiri, located north of Kuwait City, plays a significant role in supporting U.S. ground and special operations forces, including units such as the Night Stalkers.
Iranian officials said the strikes were carried out in response to recent actions attributed to opposing forces and emphasized continued readiness to defend the country across land, air, and sea.
