Iranian Army Says Drone Strikes Target Key Sites in Haifa Port
WANA (Mar 26) – The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that several sensitive and strategic sites in the port of Haifa Port were targeted in drone strikes overnight.
In its Statement No. 44, the army said the attacks were carried out in response to what it described as enemy actions against Iran’s missile and drone capabilities.
According to the statement released by the army’s public relations office, a number of critical and vital sites linked to Israel in the strategic port of Haifa were struck by Iranian army drones.
The statement added that the targets included a facility involved in the construction and maintenance of various military vessels in the eastern Mediterranean, described as playing a key role in supporting Israel’s naval fleet, as well as large fuel storage tanks for fighter jets located at Haifa port.
