Iranian Army Says It Continues Drone Attacks on U.S. Bases and Strategic Facilities in the Region
WANA (Jul 09) – The Iranian Army said it has carried out a new wave of drone strikes against U.S. military bases and strategic facilities in Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait in response to what it described as U.S. attacks on Iranian territory and Army units.
According to the statement, the latest operation targeted a Patriot air defense system in Kuwait, a satellite antenna serving as an early warning site in Qatar, and fuel storage facilities used by the U.S. military in Bahrain with a large number of attack drones.
The Army said Iran’s Armed Forces, acting under the directives of the Commander-in-Chief, would not, under any circumstances, allow the objectives and ambitions of the “reckless” President of the United States to be realized and would continue defending the ideals of the Islamic Revolution until what it called “final victory.”
