Iranian Army Says It Launched Drone Strikes on U.S. Positions in Kuwait
WANA (Jul 13) – The Iranian Army said it had carried out a new wave of drone strikes targeting U.S. military positions and facilities in Kuwait.
According to a statement issued by the Army’s Public Relations Office, the operation was launched in response to what it described as repeated unlawful U.S. attacks against Iran. The statement said explosive drones targeted U.S. troop positions, air defense and missile systems, shelters, and logistical support facilities in Kuwait.
The Army also condemned what it called U.S. attacks on Iranian military sites, civilian infrastructure, and civilians, describing them as a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter.
It further stated that Iran’s Armed Forces remain committed to defending the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence, and vowed to continue responding to any further military action against Iran.
