Iranian Army Targets Al Azraq and Sheikh Isa Bases in New Drone Offensive
WANA (Jul 22) – The Iranian Army announced that it had launched a new wave of drone strikes against U.S. military positions in Jordan and Bahrain as part of the 22nd phase of its Saegheh operation.
According to the statement, the strikes targeted U.S. military accommodation and support facilities, as well as an equipment warehouse, at Al Azraq Air Base in Jordan.
The Army also said that its Arash suicide drones subsequently struck large equipment storage facilities and hangars used for the maintenance and repair of heavy aircraft at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
In its statement, the Iranian Army dedicated this phase of the operation to the people of southern Iran, saying its forces would continue their campaign with public support and in honor of the country’s founding leader and fallen commanders until what it described as “final victory.”
