Iranian Army Targets Israeli Infrastructure in Drone Strikes
WANA (Mar 30) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Army announced that it launched a series of drone attacks targeting critical Israeli infrastructure.
In Army Statement No. 49, Iran’s military described the operation as beginning in the morning of March 30, 2026, employing multiple combat drones to strike sites in the industrial city of Nof HaGalil and Tel Aviv.
According to the statement, the attacks focused on:
The Israeli Weapons Development Center, responsible for producing and developing defensive and offensive missile systems, including the Iron Dome.
Elbit Systems, a weapons company active in electronic warfare, drone manufacturing, surveillance systems, and radar sensors, and a major contributor to Israel’s arms exports.
Canfit Industries, which engineers and manufactures aerospace components and constructs airframes for aircraft and helicopters.
The Iranian Army hailed the operations as a tribute to the sacrifice of the nation’s martyrs, particularly referencing the late Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, stating that their blood fuels the determination of Iran’s armed forces to defend the country.
