Iranian Army Targets Israeli Positions at Ben-Gurion Airport with Drones
WANA (Apr 04) – The Iranian Army announced that its forces carried out a drone strike on multiple facilities at Ben-Gurion Airport in Israel early Saturday morning.
In Statement No. 54, the Iranian Army said the strikes were in response to the continued use of the airport by U.S. and Israeli forces against Iran.
Targets included the new control tower, Terminal 1 and 2 towers, airport navigation systems, and radar and antenna installations.
The operation aimed to disrupt enemy command and control, interfere with military air traffic coordination, hinder the guidance of U.S. and Israeli fighter jets, and impair enemy reconnaissance and electronic warfare systems, according to the statement.
“The revenge for the blood of our martyrs across the Islamic Republic of Iran is inevitable,” the statement added, warning that the Islamic Republic’s armed forces will continue their response relentlessly, proportionally, and with full power.
