WANA (Jul 17) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Army has launched a wave of kamikaze drone strikes targeting U.S. military support centers and logistics hubs in Kuwait, marking the 12th phase of its ongoing “Operation Saegheh” (Thunderbolt).

According to a statement released by the Army’s Public Relations Department, “Arash” kamikaze drones were deployed in the operation to target U.S. troop quarters and logistical support centers in Kuwait. The military declared the strikes were conducted “in response to the crimes of the arrogant enemy and to avenge the pure blood of the nation’s martyrs.”

The Iranian Army emphasized its defensive posture, stating: “Relying on history, popular support, experience, and combat readiness, we stand with vigilance and authority against any pressure or threat. We are certain that this ancient land and the historic, heroic nation of Iran, with divine assistance, will triumph over the malicious and deceitful enemy.”

The strike comes just hours after the 11th phase of “Operation Saegheh,” in which Iranian kamikaze drones reportedly targeted U.S. reconnaissance aircraft and military helicopters stationed at a base in Bahrain.
