Iranian Army Vows Decisive Response Following Fatal US Strike on Bampur Barracks
WANA (Jul 15) – The Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army have vowed to deliver a decisive response following a deadly U.S. missile attack on a military barracks in Bampur, Iranshahr, which left seven personnel dead.
According to the public relations office of the Army Ground Forces, U.S. forces launched 13 missiles in the early hours of Wednesday morning, targeting the barracks, guest housing, and security posts of a base belonging to the Iranian Army.
Military officials stated that the attack specifically targeted the living quarters and barracks area in an attempt to inflict maximum human casualties. However, the Army noted that adherence to passive defense protocols and pre-established precautionary measures prevented a higher death toll despite the scale and intensity of the missile strikes.
“During this attack by the American terrorist military, seven cadre and conscript personnel of the 388th Iranshahr Brigade achieved martyrdom, and several others were wounded, who are currently undergoing medical treatment,” the statement read.
The Army Ground Forces emphasized that retaliation for the attack is inevitable. “Vengeance for the pure blood of these martyrs is certain and imminent,” the Army stated. “The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the help of God and in coordination with the rest of the Armed Forces, will deliver a definitive response to this aggressive action by the American enemy at the appropriate time.”
