WANA (Jun 21) – The Iranian negotiating delegation, headed by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, met with a Pakistani delegation consisting of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir.

The meeting took place as part of a series of consultations between delegations attending talks at the Bürgenstock Hotel in Switzerland, aimed at advancing the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.

According to the report, Pakistan serves as the principal mediator between Iran and the United States regarding the Islamabad memorandum and efforts to bring an end to the war.

Earlier, the Iranian delegation led by Ghalibaf also held talks with the Prime Minister of Qatar, another mediator involved in the negotiations.
