Iranian Doctors Abroad Request to Return for Humanitarian Service Amid Crisis
WANA (Mar 27) – Amirpasha Tabaian, Deputy of Education at the Iranian Medical Council, announced that Iranian doctors living abroad have expressed interest in returning to Iran to provide medical services to the public.
In a televised interview, Dr. Tabaian emphasized that healthcare personnel remain alongside the people under all circumstances.
He stated that messages have been received from Iranian doctors residing in various cities and countries, expressing a desire to travel to Tehran or other cities affected by the conflict to assist.
“Several messages have come from Iranian doctors living abroad who wish to provide their services. Many are currently in Turkey and have requested to come to Iran to help. We also have doctors in Oman and Europe who are eager to return and contribute,” he said.
Regarding the availability of medical services, Dr. Tabaian noted that all specialties and disciplines are currently available in hospitals, and there is no shortage of medical fields.
“In other words, healthcare services are being provided across all medical specialties,” he added.
