WANA (Jul 15) – The Iranian Army has announced that it carried out the seventh phase of its “Saegheh” operation, claiming to have launched a drone strike against Jordan’s Azraq Air Base.

 

According to an official statement released by the army, the attack targeted facilities housing F-18 fighter jets, personnel accommodation buildings, and a large equipment hangar used by the U.S. military at the base. The Iranian Army described the operation as part of its ongoing drone campaign against U.S. military installations across the region.

 

The statement further asserted that the operation reinforces what it described as the “strategic message of the martyred Leader of the Revolution,” claiming that the era of “hit-and-run” actions has come to an end and that any action against Iran’s territory, waters, or airspace will be met with a proportional response.

 

The Iranian Army also stated that, following what it called the United States’ violation of the ceasefire and subsequent attacks on parts of Iran, it has now conducted seven phases of drone operations targeting U.S. military bases and facilities in the region.

 

According to the statement, Operation Saegheh will continue until its declared objectives are achieved.
