Iranian Drones Strike Israeli Strategic Tankers and Security Hubs
WANA (Mar 20) – The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced a renewed wave of coordinated drone strikes targeting Israel’s strategic aerial refueling fleet, national security infrastructure, and media apparatus.
In an official statement No. 36, the Army’s Public Relations office confirmed that long-range loitering munitions were launched early this morning against high-value targets in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Ben Gurion Airport.
The Iranian military identified three specific locations struck during the dawn operation. The first primary target was the Strategic Tanker Fleet at Ben Gurion Airport, which the Army reported as the staging area for refueling aircraft that play a fundamental role in supporting long-range aerial operations against Iran and the Axis of Resistance.
The second target was the Ministry of National Security in Israel, described in the communiqué as the heart of crisis management for the Israeli administration. The third target was Channel 13 News in Tel Aviv, which the military identified as a psychological operations arm used for whitewashing actions against the Iranian people.
The timing of these strikes coincides with the final hours of the holy month of Ramadan and the conclusion of the Iranian calendar year 1404. The Army framed the military action as a defense of the motherland backed by the epic presence of the Iranian public.
The official statement concluded by noting that the prayers of the noble and resilient nation accompany the warriors on the battlefield of truth against falsehood.
