WANA (Jul 05) – The Iranian Embassy in Armenia responded to recent threats and remarks made by U.S. President Donald Trump against Iran.

 

In a post published on X on Saturday night, the embassy stated that while individuals can be killed, ideals cannot.

 

Addressing Trump, the embassy asserted that although Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei had been assassinated, the assassination had only helped spread his legacy and influence more widely.

 

It further argued that Trump was unable to understand this because, according to the embassy, he lacked civilization, history, and honor.

 

The statement came after Trump reportedly claimed that the United States could eliminate Iranian officials attending the funeral ceremonies of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but that doing so would leave Washington with no Iranian officials available for future negotiations.

 

The first day of the public farewell ceremonies for the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, was held on Saturday at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla and drew massive crowds of mourners. The event has received widespread coverage in international media.
