WANA (Jun 13) – The Iranian Embassy in Beirut has issued a sharp response to recent remarks made by Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Regi regarding the Islamic Republic.

 

In a statement posted on the social media platform X, the embassy directly addressed the Lebanese diplomat, urging him to re-evaluate his assessment of Iran’s internal stability.

 

“Mr. Seyed Youssef Regi, do not mistake your understanding and assessment of the Iranian nation, the system, and the government that our people love; be realistic,” the embassy stated.

 

Defending the Iranian government’s domestic standing, the embassy pointed to months of widespread pro-government demonstrations across the country.

 

“For more than a hundred days, every public square and arena across our beloved and powerful nation—spanning an area of 1,648,195 square kilometers—has been filled with massive crowds,” the statement continued. “People from all walks of life, including women, men, the elderly, youth, and children, have taken to the streets to stand in defense of the Islamic Republic.”
