WANA (Apr 21) – The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the UK released a message on the social media platform X in response to recent remarks by British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.

 

Cooper had stated that she traveled to five countries in recent days to apply pressure for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

 

Pointing to the approaching end of the two-week ceasefire between Iran and the U.S., she described it as a critical diplomatic moment.

 

In this regard, the Iranian Embassy in London stated that the UK should set aside worthless statements and join global public opinion in holding the American and Israeli regimes accountable and responsible for their war crimes.
