Iranian Embassy Mocks Narrative of the “Destruction of Iran’s Military”

WANA (Jun 14) – In response to recent statements by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) asserting that all Iranian projectiles had been intercepted and that Iran’s military had been “destroyed,” the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kenya released a sarcastic message questioning those remarks and pointing to what it described as the realities on the ground.

The embassy’s official account in Kenya reposted images of Iran’s missile strikes and ridiculed CENTCOM’s account, writing: “Keep lying, boys. The only thing being destroyed is your credibility.”

The message came in response to a statement in which CENTCOM said that all launched projectiles had been intercepted and that Iran’s military capabilities had suffered severe damage. Iranian diplomats, however, presented a different version of events, saying that two key U.S. radar systems in the region were struck and destroyed during Iran’s missile operation.

According to information shared in the message, the ASR-1000 radar at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait and the TPS-59 radar in Bahrain were among the targets that were either damaged or completely destroyed in the missile strikes.

By publishing these details, the Iranian Embassy in Kenya emphasized that, contrary to Washington’s account, recent developments demonstrated Iran’s ability to target sensitive U.S. military infrastructure across the region.

The statement released by the diplomatic mission said: “CENTCOM says everything was intercepted and Iran’s military has been destroyed. The reality, however, is that U.S. early-warning radar systems were reduced to rubble by Iranian missiles only days ago.”
