WANA (Jun 11) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation on Thursday afternoon with Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, to discuss the latest regional developments following recent US military strikes on several locations within Iran.

 

During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister strongly condemned the recent US aggression, characterizing it as a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and international law.

 

Araghchi stated that these military actions have effectively rendered the current ceasefire ineffective, emphasizing that the United States bears full responsibility for the dangerous consequences of its actions.

 

Araghchi further criticized the silence of United Nations member states in the face of these strikes, warning that international inaction and passivity will only fuel further regional and global insecurity.
