WANA (Dec 25) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has extended his congratulations on the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ (PBUH).

In a message posted on the social media platform X, Araghchi wrote: “Wishing all those across the globe celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ (PBUH) a safe, healthy, peaceful, and Happy Christmas.

May your celebration of the birth of a Messenger of Peace and Compassion be a blessing.” He also addressed Iran’s Armenian community, wishing them “a blessed Epiphany of Christ” in advance.

Meanwhile, marking Christmas and the New Year, the Iranian Embassy in Germany visited the Berlin Christmas market and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, where it distributed greeting cards from the embassy and the ambassador, emphasizing the message of peace and shared values among religions.

The embassy’s greeting card featured an image of Tehran’s newly inaugurated “Maryam-e Moghaddas (Saint Mary)” metro station, symbolizing respect for the Virgin Mary (SA) and interfaith dialogue.
