WANA (Feb 05) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, held separate telephone conversations with his counterparts from Egypt, Oman, and Qatar to review the latest regional and international developments.

 

Earlier, Araghchi had also consulted with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia. During the phone call, the Saudi foreign minister expressed his country’s support for political and diplomatic solutions aimed at resolving existing challenges.

 

On Wednesday afternoon, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, spoke by phone with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on recent regional developments.

 

Emphasizing Riyadh’s approach in supporting regional stability, the Saudi foreign minister reaffirmed his country’s backing of any political and diplomatic initiatives designed to address current challenges.

 

The foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia also stressed the importance of continuing close consultations to help maintain regional stability and safeguard the interests of all countries in the region.
