Iran’s Foreign Minister thanked Saudi Arabia for its responsible stance in condemning the recent aggressions against Iran and outlined Tehran’s perspective on regional security following the criminal military attacks carried out by Israel and the United States.
He described these actions as blatant violations of the UN Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), warning that such aggression has placed the entire West Asian region at unprecedented risk.
He stressed that the united and firm position of regional countries in response to these attacks reflects a growing consensus on the need for collective action to counter the expansionist and war-driven policies of the Israeli apartheid regime.

Prince Mohammed emphasized that protecting regional stability and security depends on cooperation and mutual understanding among regional states. He also reiterated Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of military aggression against Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and stated that Riyadh is committed to using all its resources to prevent further escalation and to resolve disputes through diplomacy.

Araghchi welcomed the continued exchange between Tehran and Riyadh on defense and security matters, describing Prince Khalid’s recent visit to Tehran as an important and effective step in promoting cooperation and enhancing regional stability.
The Iranian minister condemned the Israeli strike on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities as an “unforgivable crime” and a direct threat to international peace. He argued that these acts are rooted in the long-standing impunity enjoyed by the Israeli regime and stressed the need for the region to build indigenous mechanisms to defend against expansionist threats.
Prince Khalid reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the Israeli attacks and expressed condolences for the Iranian military personnel and civilians killed in the assaults. He also underscored the dangerous consequences of Israel’s violations of international norms and called for greater regional cooperation to address the sources of instability.
Prince Khalid later wrote on social platform X: “Met with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Abbas Araghchi. We reviewed various aspects of our cooperation. We also discussed regional developments and efforts to promote security and stability, along with several other topics of mutual interest.”
Before these meetings, Araghchi also had met with the Saudi FM.
