Iranian FM Mock’s US Policy
WANA (Sep 09) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has criticized US foreign policy following the announcement of additional economic measures against Tehran, questioning Washington’s strategic approach after decades of pressure.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Araghchi highlighted what he described as decades of failed attempts by the United States to isolate Iran, arguing that coercive measures and military confrontation have proven counterproductive for Washington.
“After 47 years of sanctions, the US went to war with Iran on behalf of Israel. The fallout has been disastrous for America, including its standing worldwide,” Araghchi wrote.
Taking aim at Washington’s recent policy decisions, the Iranian foreign minister added: “After failing to achieve its aims through sanctions or war, Washington’s ‘novel’ solution is…more sanctions. Seriously?”
