WANA (Sep 15) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi will travel to Beijing on Wednesday, September 16, for an official visit.

 

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei announced the visit, saying Araghchi will hold talks with Chinese officials on bilateral relations as well as key regional and international issues.

 

China’s Foreign Ministry also confirmed Araghchi’s visit, saying the Iranian foreign minister is scheduled to meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi for talks.

 

The visit comes amid ongoing regional and international developments and as Tehran and Beijing continue to discuss issues of mutual interest.
