WANA (Jun 12) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot held a telephone conversation today to discuss the fluid security situation in the region and ongoing diplomatic initiatives.

 

According to official briefings, the two top diplomats focused heavily on the status of backchannel diplomatic tracks currently being mediated by Pakistan aimed at de-escalation.

 

In addition to regional crisis management, Araghchi and Barrot reviewed several key bilateral issues between Tehran and Paris, expressing a mutual interest in maintaining open channels of communication amid volatile regional dynamics.
