WANA (Jul 20) – Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Kremlin, announced on Sunday that the senior Iranian Leader’s Advisor, Ali Larijani, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

 

According to the Russian news agency, Peskov stated: “On Sunday, President Putin welcomed Ali Larijani, senior advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader, at the Kremlin. During the meeting, the Iranian representative shared his assessment of the situation in the Middle East and developments related to Iran’s nuclear program.”

 

Peskov added that the Russian side reiterated its well-known positions aimed at stabilizing the region and pursuing a political resolution to issues surrounding Iran’s nuclear program.

 

He concluded by emphasizing that, during the meeting, the Russian side clearly expressed its stance on achieving a political settlement of the matters related to Iran’s nuclear dossier.
