Iranian Military Command Announces Suspension of Military Operations
WANA (Jun 08) – The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces has announced a suspension of its current military operations, following what it described as a severe retaliatory response against the Israeli regime.
According to an official statement, the latest military actions by Iran’s armed forces were executed in direct support of the Lebanese population and in response to ongoing military operations by the Israeli regime in southern Lebanon and the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, which the headquarters stated were carried out with the backing of the United States.
The defense command emphasized that the operation was intended to serve as a decisive warning to Tel Aviv and its international allies regarding the consequences of regional escalation.
While confirming the current halt to active operations, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a stern caution that any continuation of hostile actions, particularly in southern Lebanon, would trigger immediate and significantly more severe defensive countermeasures from the Islamic Republic.
