Iranian Military Spokesman Urges Reporting of U.S. Troops in Region
WANA (Mar 25) – The Iranian military spokesperson says U.S. forces in the region have left their bases and are now in hiding, calling on local populations to report their locations.
Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said all U.S. bases in the region have been destroyed, and that American commanders and soldiers have fled and taken shelter outside military installations.
“We are pursuing the American commanders and soldiers who have fled,” Zolfaqari said. “They have taken refuge in hiding places outside their bases, and we are searching for them.”
He also urged people across countries in the region to report the whereabouts of these forces and to call for the removal of U.S. troops.
“We ask the people of the region to report their hiding places and, for their own safety, to demand the expulsion of Americans from the region,” he added.
